On November 18-20, the Philadelphia Flyers will team up with USA Hockey for a three day tournament bringing together NHL club-sponsored adult sled hockey teams from across the United States. Over 100 of the top sled hockey players in the country will take part in the second annual tournament. This tournament will be taking place at the Virtua Health Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, New Jersey (the location where the Philadelphia Flyers practice). This event can help to move this sport forward and give thousands of boys and girls an experience that will be fulfilling and enjoyable.
thats pretty good endorsement for the flyers
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this sport before. It looks really fun.
ReplyDeleteDo you think a lot of young boys and girls will want to play this sport after going to the event?
I'm also wondering how does the tournament make money? Do you need a ticket? Are there prizes?
I ve never seen this sport before. is this a sport for handicap people though? the concept kind of reminds me of wheelchair racing or murderball.
